I just fell in love with the CPAN (Comprehensive Perl Archive Network). Seriously. If it were a girl, I would marry it. I may anyway. Its got Perl modules to handle just about any job imaginable. For example, I took the Net::AIM module, and the Chatbot::Eliza module, stuck them together with a few lines of code and came up with BlastrBot2. I’ll leave him on AIM from time to time, so drop him a line if you see him on. Just don’t talk to him too fast, he really hates that and he’s not afraid to let you know. I plan on eventually changing him from a mindless chatbot to a semi-useful tool some time in the near future, just as soon as I figure out what that tool should be. Suggestions?
