Although the news is already spreading its way across various social networking apps, it’s definitely worth recording here for posterity.  Welcome to our family, son.  We’re so glad you’re here and that you’re ok.   I’m sure the surprise you gave us in showing up early today is just the first of many times you’ll surprise us as parents.  In fact, I don’t think you’d be sleeping as soundly as you are right now if you had any idea at all just how little idea we have about what we’re supposed to do next.  However, if it helps to put your mind at ease, we do have a certificate of completion for a newborn care class and we do love you immensely so hopefully those things will be of some help.
